I rarely come to SF but when you do you gotta come to Guardinos!!! I think an issue everyone has is that the lobster or shrimp buns DO come cold and no they will NOT warm it up for you. Still taste amazing though and is a staple to stop by to try it at least once!
I been coming to this place for a little over 10years, this was the first time I've ever had chowder and i fell in love with it ever since. I've tried a few different places down the pier but the taste is just not the same, even with some big names around the area it's definitely the best. You come, you order, you go.. pretty simple. Clam chowder was for sure the seafood snack I was searching for down in Fisherman's Wharf. A creamy delight served in a crusty white. Recommended together with the seafood cocktail. Many benches around Guardino's to sit down and enjoy this bite.
