What a delight ?
My husband and I enjoyed visiting this wonderful restaurant in which the food tasted very much like back home. The service was excellent, the host was extremely nice and friendly, the atmosphere was very calm and clean. I would definitely come back.
Given mixed reviews I was excited to discover how Khamsa does one of my favorite cuisines. Things started off on a basic note with their Mediterranean salad, but I was wowed by their bastilla, which wonderfully balances sweet and savory, crispy and soft. A must! Tajines were a mix: the lamb shank tajine was quite poor, as it lacked salt and had not absorbed any of the wonderful flavors surrounding it, almost like it has been garnished with fruits instead of cooked with them.
