The food here is awesome! The salmon bento got me hooked on this place. The salmon was so incredibly tender, nothing like I've ever tasted. You can taste the quality of the ingredients & the care that went into making the meal.
I also got the fantuan which normally don't order because most places tend to be dry but this one is exceptional. I love how there is a thin layer of rice and stuffed with ingredients. It really changes the experience. Highly recommended.

Onigiri and faun taun are excellent. Perfect for a picnic at the park or snack to go!

Konbini is a cute little shop with a welcoming vibe and friendly staff, run by Emily and her gang of aunties as a hella vibey snacky third space cafe. The snack selection is unique, with lots of cute snacks, condiments, and nice chocolates for sale, plus cute art pieces inside. It’s a good spot to pick up a gift for a fellow foodie and a great place to chat and hangout. The spam musubi and the whole fantuan concept are loved, though the fantuan has great flavor but is a bit too salty, and the packaging doesn’t quite match the experience. The onigiri is delicious and kid friendly, with options like tempura mushroom, avocado with garlic, and shiso bacon jam. The avocado and garlic confit onigiri was a favorite, and the oyster mushroom tempura is nice and savory. There are also cold matcha drinks available and housemade tea drinks. The shop has casual seating, a table outside for sunny days, and a restroom with no code or key necessary. A great little grab and go spot, and happy to have more Asian food options in the Mission.
