“As a midwesterner, a straight from the docks seafood place like this is a dream. Completely blew our modest budget there and am SO glad I did. Chowder wasn't new England or Manhattan style but unique and superb.
Despite the long list of great restaurants in SF, I probably return to Popi's on my next visit.“

“This has become a staple for us every time we visit San Francisco. Their daily happy hour (which includes weekends) has 1.55 oysters, you really can’t find that good of a deal on a weekend anywhere else - or at least we haven’t been able to!

“This is so delicious!! It’s ginger makes it spicy, yet sweet. I wish I had known about this juice sooner, since I’m moving away from San Francisco:( Though the bottle is 9 oz. it’s still a substantial drink! So delicious and gives me energy!“
“Delicious fish and Japanese meals prepared in portable to go containers.
Their shop also has Japanese sweets, snacks, and cooking basics like miso/dashi. I love that they discount things at closing time too.
The only thing missing is ready to go hot miso soup to pair with your rolls, bowls, and sashimi. I hope they consider selling it together as a set meal with the ready to eat section in the future. I’d come more often than I already do.“

“We enjoyed a few items. Tacos, Burritos, Sandwich, cheesecake and smoothies. All the food was served quickly despite being steady. All the food items were excellent especially the portobello tacos(Tuesday). The smoothie was delicious and cold and the cheesecake was vanilla and delicious. “Hidden gem of Sausalito! It’s a small scale restaurant where the chef if cooking in front of you simply amazing Michelin-3-star-level food. Don’t come here just for caviar that you can simply buy at a store. Come for the chef’s amazing cooking!“
