Too Spicy to be called a Sandwich.
If your vegetarian DONT ever eat here! My fiancé received her sandwich covered in a sauce she asked not to put on there and after removing the sauce, she bit in only to find Multiple Pieces of Meat were laid in there as well. Horrible customer service as we called to ask what happened they blamed the delivery driver! The sandwiches were labeled correctly when we got them. Lous messed up and wouldn’t apologize. Don’t eat here. Ever.
Great sandwiches. We love many of the specialty sandwiches and make your own options. The only problem is they don’t provide a ‘no meat’ option on build your own sandwich for vegetarians. 😀🙁

Lou's Cafe/Lounge is a popular lunch spot in the Financial District. Their sandwiches range from $12.50 to $14, and salads are $10 to $11. The ultimate omelet sandwich is delicious and highly recommended, as well as the original breakfast sandwich with fluffy eggs and a toasted ciabatta bun. Quick and friendly service completes the experience.
Customers praise the fast service and amazing sandwiches, especially for the convenience and price. The sitting area off the lobby of the office building is a nice spot, and there's a cool art piece there as well. While the wait can get long, ordering ahead and picking it up is an option.
The LLB special sandwich, which features roast beef, turkey, ham, Swiss, and provolone on Dutch crunch, is described as "alright." The New England Clam Chowder, which is $8.50, is chunky but not completely filled up, though it still tastes okay. Overall, Lou's Cafe/Lounge is a good lunch option in the Financial District.
