Palio is one of my favorite restaurants. I eat there with friends regularly and will continue to do so. The pizza (Margherita) is delicious and a perfect appetizer -- which is not to say the other appetizers aren't quite good -- because they are. There are always a few specials, a fish special, a pasta special and a meat special. Date night: exceptional cioppino (generous amounts of crab, mussels, clams, scallops, shrimp, and fish in an outstandingly rich spicy tomato broth) and beet/radicchio salad. Superb service in a quietly elegant, yet comfortable, high-ceilinged dining room. The open kitchen at the other side of the dining room adds to the experience. We had a lovely Barolo with dinner. The waiter was super friendly! Pasta and pizza are in good food proportion but what really sets it apart is the vibe! I personally enjoyed the pasta more because it was rich and creamy and suggest all the Alfredo lovers to try this
