The food tastes good and prices are low too! My favorite is the tofu sandwich -- the bagels are great too... I have no complaints on the taste! Seems like a nice family owned business. My only gripe is I worry some of their ingredients have been sitting around for a while... I've eaten here 4 times and got a slight upset stomach twice. I wanna like this place, but I should probably do my stomach a favor.
Googled ‘Vietnamese coffee’ nearby and walked to Hong Kee & Kim, only to find out they’re permanently closed. Thankfully so, otherwise I wouldn’t have found this gem! The coffee is powerful and rich in flavor. I can’t stand black coffee and this mix added the perfect amount of sweetness— not overbearing or too watered down. It is pretty hard to knock an establishment where the cashier is also the chef post-Covid. My work is down the block and I was hungry at 10am. There's a sign outside for a "breakfast special" w/coffee for $8. I made an executive decision to try it. The guy asked me if I wanted a bagel or an English muffin.
