sometimes you have to lower the rating to one of your favorite spots:- they pronounce 1er cru as oner :(- they have spider web all over the restaurant- very empty on a saturday night at a full hotel- food was good, but nothing to blow my mind after revisiting 2 months earlier a lot of items are still the same
We had a good meal but not great. Salmon and fregola was adequate but nothing spectacular. The ancient grains with salmon was good but would have benefitted from an increase in basic seasoning. Fish tacos were also good but the fish was over-battered and somewhat dry. Each dish lacked something that would have made them better than okay. Service was good but the booths are somewhat small and located next to the pickup station at the bar.

Came for SF restaurant week. The restaurant is past the lobby of the Intercontinental. Parking was easy on the street, but apparently the restaurant also validates valet. Amuse-bouche and sourdough with butter were pleasant surprise additions to the menu. Appreciated the bread being cut all the way. Texture difference of crust and inside was great and arrived at a nice warm temperature. Got an old fashioned and it was nice and strong. Friend said her drink was pretty weak. Soup...read full review
