Neighborhood cafe spot serving coffees and breakfast foods. I got French press coffee and the Egg McMercury. Neither were phenomenal (never had a good biscuit outside the south anyways), but the staff are friendly and the shop is very cozy. Definitely a bit pricy for the small portion sizes. I would go here again to work, read a book, or chat with friends.
Amazing neighborhood spot!
They have a limited pastry selection - cookies and scones - and given the choices, I selected the scone, expecting the usual dry, crumbly, sad situation. Then I took the first bite and realized this might be the best scone I’ve ever had. I asked the staff about them and learned they’re homemade. It was buttery and soft inside, with pieces of strawberry, just enough sweetness, and a crisp, slightly caramelized outside. Yum 😋
