Great picanha but small portions. Drinks are really good. Most of the staff is great, particularly Nina.
Good food, but review the bill carefully before tipping!
Food and service were very good, and we enjoyed the overall dining experience.
However, I was surprised by the billing process. In addition to the regular sales tax, a 5.5% “SF Ordinance” surcharge was added to the bill. While I understand that many San Francisco restaurants use healthcare or employee benefit surcharges, this fee was not obvious to me until I reviewed the final receipt.

The restaurant has an elegant design with modern striped tiles, bold wallpaper, large green plants and booth seating that makes the space feel comfortable and private. The ambiance is very nice with a unique stylish feel. The restaurant started with bone marrow then had pan-seared scallops, Dungeness crab sorrentinos, Carbonara, Midnight Pasta, beetroot salad, creamed spinach and garlic bread. The scallops were perfectly cooked, the ravioli was delicious, the garlic bread was just average, and the gelato was free but bland. Service was good but pretty slow, took about 45 minutes for entrees. Overall the experience is great.
