Well run with amazing sandwiches and house made hot sauce. The only issue is what sandwich to order....they are all pretty amazing. Can't miss with the BEC or cheesesteaks...but that italian hoagie also calls...
Newkirk's is a staple for my lunches! The sandwiches are good enough that I crave them at times. The place is appropriately staffed and the person at the front counter is friendly, prompted, and helpful. The decor is basic, which looks like easy maintenance and low fuss, but you wouldn't come here for the ambiance. The lunch rush can be heavy between 12pm-1pm, so I'd get there a bit before/after or order ahead. I have loved the the buffalo chicken sandwich and the salami sandwich....read full review

Newkirk's is a 5-star for me. It's one of those great low-key sandwich shops that feeds the locals. The food is consistently terrific. My go-to is the Steak sandwich, but I've got backups I enjoy for when I want to mix things up. Their spicy sauces are awesome, so be sure to try them if you like that kinda thing. One of the best things about Newkirk's is the staff -- they are always friendly, helpful, and down to earth.
