The food here is absolutely delicious, but there's one big problem: the heat levels are just not calibrated well. Mild seems to have no heat at all, but medium absolutely destroys me. If there was an actual medium tier, I'd be ordering here 10x as often

I really, really love Sawaan and am so happy I got to experience this beautiful restaurant as many times as I did this summer. As someone who was born in Thailand and accustomed to an intense level of spice, they never disappointed. I often have the issue of food lacking spice, but I still remember my second visit when I was given a large bowl of Thai chillis. The service is so spectacular, and the food is delicious. This was our family's first time eating here and everything was absolutely delicious! We had a gorgeous curry, noodle, watermelon shrimp, and eggplant dishes. The service was also amazing and the atmosphere was very fun. We strongly recommend this new spot!
