This restaurant was me and my wife’s favorite in the neighborhood. Always friendly service and delicious food. I hope they aren’t closed for good, but if so thank you for the memories!
Closed by owner?!?! A new sign taped to the door this week is breaking my heart. We have loved eating here for the last five years and always took all our out of town guests. The owner is so nice and remembers our order. This restaurant is a neighborhood treasure! I hope it will open again soon. ❤️

This food is absolutely delicious. Every dish that we requested was so tasty and attractive.
Shanghai Dumpling King offers excellent Chinese food with a good selection of dumplings. The staff is helpful and friendly, providing fast service that impresses many customers. Recommended dishes include pea sprouts, spicy pork dumplings, sweet and sour chicken, pork soup dumplings, and lamb potstickers. The dumplings are handmade, featuring perfectly thin wrappers that hold flavorful fillings. The pan-fried dumplings have a crispy bottom, and the soup dumplings (xiao long bao) are rich and delicious.
While parking may be challenging for larger cars, the overall dining experience is very nice. The kitchen is incredibly fast, often preparing multiple dishes in just 10-15 minutes. The prices are reasonable, making it a great spot for takeout or a casual meal with friends. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, complemented by excellent dipping sauces, particularly the chili oil. Whether dining in or taking out, this place is highly recommended for anyone craving dumplings and comfort food.
