Really excellent sushi for a very reasonable price. As of September 2026 they have a promotion where buying a 49ers roll gives you the option for a $10 sizzling halibut plate and both are fantastic. I also highly recommend the Cal Bears roll.
I had an incredible experience at Tazaki Sushi. Mr. Tazaki runs a wonderful, welcoming spot with fantastic sushi and a great atmosphere. The sushi was extremely fresh, beautifully prepared, and honestly some of the best I’ve had in San Francisco.
They currently have an amazing sushi special running through May 4th, and the value for the quality is outstanding. The presentation alone was impressive, and every bite tasted just as good as it looked.

Local gem of a sushi restaurant and genuinely the best I've had across all of San Francisco. The nigiri is where they really shine, but the rolls are inventive, balanced and delicious also. Mr. Tazaki is a seasoned expert and a legend to behold. You can usually find him behind the sushi bar and ready to tell you what's in season or make you a custom roll based on your favorite fish.
