The Baked Bear Reviews
This was so tasty!! Filled my son and I up!! The sandwich is custom (funfetti and choc chip cookies with bear batter ice cream). 100% worth it!
We came across this adorable little ice cream truck, selling ice cream, cookies, and brownies. This place has a fun menu, where you can build your own custom ice cream sandwich, or order the ingredients (ice cream, cookies, and brownies seperatly). We ordered the combo, where we got a choice of a cookie, ice cream and a brownie on the bottom. We got fudge as a topping, the cookie monster cookie, toasted s'mores ice cream, and the brownie on the bottom (no special brownie flavors)....read full review
Walked by this pop-up restaurant on the way back to our car, decided to give it a try and was not disappointed. The young woman providing service was very friendly did a wonderful job putting together are bare basket and cookie sandwiches. They're pretty big two people could easily split it.

The Baked Bear is a fun dessert spot offering freshly baked cookies and a variety of ice cream flavors. Customers can create their own ice cream sandwiches by choosing different cookie and brownie combinations, including funfetti and carrot cake. The restaurant also offers sorbet, dairy, vegan, and gluten-free ice cream options, catering to various dietary needs.
Service at The Baked Bear is friendly and quick, with staff providing helpful suggestions and accommodating special requests. Customers praise the quality of ingredients, especially the cookie dough ice cream paired with a chocolate chip cookie, which is very popular. The treats are often enjoyed at the restaurant, but take-out is also available so visitors can explore nearby Fisherman's Wharf while savoring their desserts. The place tends to have long lines, showing how popular it is, and one employee, Monica, is highly appreciated for her excellent service.
The restaurant has plenty of seating at picnic tables, making it a comfortable spot to enjoy your dessert. The ice cream sandwiches are phenomenal, with generous toppings, and even teens find it hard to finish a whole cookie on their own. Visitors especially love the options and the overall experience. A helpful tip is to ask for the cookies to be warmed for an even better treat. Overall, The Baked Bear is a great destination for delicious, unique desserts with friendly service.
