We recently had Mother’s Day brunch at the Big Four, and it was one of the highlights of our San Francisco trip. The food, atmosphere, and service were all first-class. We would happily dine here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting San Francisco.

The Big Four, located at the Huntington Hotel, offers an extraordinary dining experience in a historic setting with elegant decor. The restaurant is a romantic spot with beautiful retro steakhouse ambiance, side-by-side seating, and low lights, perfect for a special occasion. Service is outstanding, friendly, and professional, with staff accommodating babies and toddlers. The food and cocktails are delicious, with the best ribeye steak and amazing chicken pot pie mentioned. However, the Crudo appetizer was kind of flavorless, and the mac & cheese was just blah. The atmosphere, service, and food make it the best place to dine in the Nob Hill area, great for date night or an evening with friends. It is expensive, but careful ordering can make it more reasonable. Dinner reservations are hard to come by.
