Amazing dinner with friends! The owners are fantastic and the food is delicious and beautiful
What a fantastic restaurant! We stopped in, not knowing what to expect, but we were VERY impressed. Everything we got was delicious, fresh, and beautiful. The edamame was great, fish items were incredibly crafted, and the service was even better.
Decent sushi place right downtown. Ambience was ok. And service was average too

The Roll is a small, dimly lit, and intimate restaurant offering an exquisite meal with a wide variety of fresh fish. The chirashi set and moriawase are outstanding, feeling almost like a chirashi bowl and including highlights like ama ebi with the fried head. Dishes like the uni & ikura inari, bluefin tuna toro inari, spicy tuna temaki, karaage, The Roll signature, and oden are all delicious and very good. The basque cheesecake, like a creme brûlée cheesecake, is wonderfully smooth. The overall experience feels like being back in Japan.
Service is quick, friendly, attentive, polite, and thoughtful, with staff sometimes offering complimentary items. The interior is clean. The restaurant is on a slightly pricier side but reasonable and comparable to other similar establishments, with many more options. The area is noted as sketch. It is a legit gem and highly recommended for a lovely meal.
