I visited the yellow chili for wife birthday and was impressed with food, service and ambiance. We ordered Shyam shavera kofta, mutton biryani, garlic naan and chicken curry and non vegetarian platter for two and gulag jamun as desert. Cannot complain about anything.
We had a lovely dinner at the Yellow Chilli with two other couples. The waiters were attentive but not intrusive. The restruant is comfortable. There are booths and tables. The ceilings are high so it is noisy and can be hard to hear. We shared several dishes. The butter chicken was tender and creamy. The spinach was tasty with chunks of cheese. The rice with lentils was a great change from biryani. I look forward to trying more from them.
Good service, great options for dining at this upscale Indian cuisine restaurant. Of course the title of chef Sanjeev Kapoor is a great selling point. Liked the way food was presented, service was fast for the size of crowd we had.Biriyani was not among the best I've had, I probably don't enjoy too many peppercorns and oily rice, but it was reasonably good. The chicken pieces were well soaked with the flavor.Loved their jumbo gulab jamun out of all.
