Unassuming location with a very familiar feel. Small and cozy. The vibe is the right amount of lunchtime chaos, while still keeping its good vibe ? the staff is very sweet and the food...to die for. Saw lots of veggie options. I had the Pad Kee Mao with tofu and veggies. Very wonderful price for a large plate :) Sawadee ?
What an underrated gem for Thai! I was a bit skeptical given the tough reviews going in. However, decided to order 3 dishes to go, and they were all hits. The chicken in the Kao Opp Mor Din (Clay Pot Rice) was super tender, and the mushrooms in the clay pot, all basked in a light brown sauce. The Pad Thai was delicious, and I loved the Thai Style Fried Rice - could have eaten that baby by myself. I've been here a few times now and feel that you can't go wrong with anything on their menu--but I'm especially partial to their dry noodle dishes. I've come to appreciate the stronger, more concentrated flavors with noodles (similar to how I've transitioned off of ramen into tsukemen for japanese noodles). The Thai flavors really pack a punch and deliver on a super satisfying experience.
