My husband and I were excited to try this place out after this place opened. We are not familiar with Colombian food but willing to try new cuisines. Upon arrival, we were greeted and asked if either of us spoke Spanish. Since we didn't, there was one waiter who spoke English and walked us through the menu. La Callejera was such a fun place! Let's break it down.Food: this is 100% why people come. Authentic Colombian food and the entire menu is in Spanish. On the weekends they serve a dish called the lechona which is almost like a pot pie except instead of puff pastry is it a giant pork skin! The food here is absolutely delicious. They have a special breakfast menu on the weekend. I got that since everyone else had it. I'd like to go back and try the other items too. They don't have an english menu but they'll tell you what items there are.
