Lee's Sandwiches is a modern-looking restaurant with a unique ambience. The sandwiches are always great, and the ice coffee is highly addictive and delicious. While the banh mis may not be everyone's favorite, the bread has a great texture and the filling pairs well with the sweetness from the pork. The #6 BBQ Pork Bahn Mi is a good size for the price and is a bargain if shared or saved for later. The spring rolls are refreshing and fresh, with a balanced peanut sauce. The San Carlos street location near San Jose State is preferred for its cleanliness and safety compared to other locations. Despite some minor issues with ordering and organization, the food is tasty and the service is generally good. Helpful staff, like Carlos and Nora, make the experience better. With some adjustments to their ordering process, Lee's Sandwiches has the potential to be an even better dining experience.
