About Nam Vang Restaurant

Nam Vang Restaurant is a must-visit for hu tieu lovers. The dry nam vang rice noodle dish is a standout, featuring a perfectly balanced sauce and generous portions of squid, shrimp, pork, heart, and liver. The dac biet hu tieu mi kho, which comes with a side of soup and bean sprouts, is another highlight. The Phnom Penh-style noodle and pork dishes are close to authentic, with flavors that will leave diners wanting more. The service is typical and unpretentious, offering a mom-and-pop vibe that adds to the charm. While the service is fast, it can be curt. Guests should be prepared for a bustling atmosphere, especially on weekends, and parking can be quite a challenge due to limited space and inconsiderate choices. Despite some minor drawbacks, like the food being a bit greasy, the exceptional dishes make Nam Vang Restaurant a top choice for Cambodian cuisine. It is recommended to bring cash, as only cash is accepted.

The hu tieu here compared to other places, felt like you don’t have to drink too much water because it wasn’t too salty. The waitress was also really knowledgeable about the menu, giving us recommendations and explaining...read full review

WOW!! SO UNDERRATED! Ordered the #1 Dac Biet Hu Tieu Nam Vang (Special Cambodian Noodle) and got it DRY, which means the soup comes seperately. I also ordered a side of Chinese donuts to dip in my soup.

The noodles were perfectly al dente, extremely chewy and bouncy and had a great savory flavor. They do not skimp on the fried garlic and green onions either! The proteins in the bowl were also not overcooked which I was very surprised about. Even the shrimp was bouncy! The...read full review
