Had a 2HR layover at SCJ and walked the terminal to see what food spots they have. Coming from Hawaii I wasn't feeling the whole Trader Vic spot. The ramen spot had bad ratings, so Smash Burger it was.One thing I didn't like was there wasn't a combo meal(at least at SCJ). I bought the specialty truffle mushroom burger, garlic tots and drink. Smashburger was in front of gate 22. It's got plenty of seating next to it. I got the truffle Swiss burger and it was quite tasty. The burger came out pretty fast too. Overall a good fast food dinner at the airport.

For an airport burger, this one is not bad at all. The milkshakes are also quite reasonable. These are no culinary highlights, but not bad either. Good options if you have to wait in the airport and are hungry.
