The taqueria anchors the little plaza I have seen many people come and enjoy the food, the games, and the burritos. Talk about delicious, the meat is especially fresh and seasoned with just the right amount of seasoning and spices for a fantastic eating experience. The dining area has cozy booths for family and intimate conversations and again talk about the burritos. Kevin

Taqueria El Jalisquillo offers a variety of meat options for tacos and burritos, including carne asada, pollo, chorizo, pastor, tripa, carnitas, and camarones. The prices are considered fair for the portion sizes. The staff is friendly and accommodating, providing a pleasant dining experience. The restaurant has ample parking and seating, although most customers opt for takeout orders. The carnitas were highlighted as the most flavorful option. Many visitors praise the fresh and well-seasoned meat, with some mentioning the cozy booths perfect for family or intimate conversations. The service remains excellent even close to closing time, with staff being sweet and kind, often offering tortilla chips on the side. Customers strongly recommend the flavorful Mexican food, which stands out from other places in San Jose, and highly suggest trying the burritos and al pastor tacos. This is a great spot for a quick meal or casual dinner with kids or family, where the owners and staff make everyone feel welcome and valued.
