“The food was tasty! The pad Thai was oversauced. The Penang curry should include more rice. The green papaya salad has a lot of cabbage filler. The medium spice level was good. The service is lacking a bit and the prices are reasonable. The atmosphere is plain.“
“Best Thai food I've had in 20 years of trying various restaurants. Ordering off a kiosk is weird, but they prepped our drinks before we were even done ordering. Service was fast and food was delicious. Chose options on Pad Thai that I hadn't tried anyplace else: mild spice. 10/10. Chicken Satay was crisp outside, tender inside:10/10. Peanut sauce was perfect 10/10. Curry was very good. 9/10.Dietary restrictions: Options to remove / exclude ingredients.“
“We went over the Christmas break, and it was some of the best Thai food I've ever had! The prices were reasonable, the service was quick, and the staff was extremely nice. The man who took my order chatted with me and asked me to tell him what i thought of the food, to which I told him that it was amazing. 50/10 I would be delighted to go again“
“We ordered a Grilled Salmon In Banana Leaves and Beef Noodle Soup. The food is amazing and the service is top-notch. Thank you again for your hospitality.Parking: Paid parking spots could be scarce in Downtown SLO in the evening. Use SLO Transit or Uber.“
“MyThai Restaurant is my favorite Thai restaurant in SLO. I love their Pad See Ew. It's the best I've ever eaten! The vegetables are fresh and cooked perfectly. The staff is friendly and helpful. We've eaten both indoors in the winter and outside in nice weather. I highly recommend this restaurant!“
“I have eaten at over 100 Thai restaurants around the country, so I have a very good knowledge of what I am looking for. Here is my honest review. My wife had the vegetable fried rice, few gluten free options she can eat here. It had good flavor, too mild for my taste. My wife enjoyed it. I would say 3.75 out of 5. It needed bit more seasoning and flavor.I had the stir-fry eggplant. They did warn me that the eggplant was not breaded but fried. I was hesitant but decided to try it. Well the oil from the deep frying process was too much, made my stir-fry taste very oily. So I only ate the chicken and left most of the vegetables. I usually love the sauce from the cooking process, unfortunately it was too oily for my liking. To be fair, the flavor was there just too oily.Atmosphere is ok, definitely simple/casual place, not a date location. I also didn’t like all the kitchen clutter you can see in plain site. Perhaps it’s more of a fast food casual place?I spent over an hour researching all the Thai places in the area, I was really hoping for a great place, it fell a little short for me personally. It had more of a Chinese restaurant feel to it.This is not a family style sit down place, you order up front then pay at the same time.Other reviews are pretty strong, so I am sure it fits other peoples needs, it fell a little short for me personally. I would skip the stir fry eggplant.“
“Had a great dinner here while traveling. Nice atmosphere, reasonable prices for tasty food, and the staff were very kind (and got a kick out of my husband's excessive penchant for spicy food). Would definitely eat here again.Vegetarian options: Looked like there was a lot for vegetarians/vegans on the menu, clearly marked.Dietary restrictions: Good amount of gluten-free options clearly marked.“
