This girl must cook organic, cuz you’ll leave feeling satisfied and fulfilled without any guilt of getting your glucose shot up like with usually compared dishes or getting your immune rung up through the ringer from processed or “enriched” ingredients. You can tell she clearly paid attention in culinary school since she cares about quality.
On my first visit I had the tomato soup with a grilled cheese +bacon($2 added charge). The tomato soup seemed to be freshly made and the sandwich had 3 large crispy bacon slices on 2 large sourdough slices. Its snuggled inside a business complex, you’ll have the quiet rumblings of cars and on occasion small planes landing and taking off from Carlsbad airport next door if you sit outside. Inside sitting available. Great job ladies keep up the good work.

“It's a hidden gem. I have driven by multiple times but I never knew this place existed. I was referred by a customer at another brewery. He said the sandwiches here were great, they were big and you could share one with someone else. He also said the beer wasn't the greatest but he goes for a sandwich often. Parking is not great and when you walk in there is a beer menu but you have to read the paper menu to find out what is in the sandwich. The sandwich took about 30 min to come out. All that being said the sandwich was great, definitely worth the wait! The bacon is crispy. The bread was good and it was actually just the right size. I ordered an IPA and it was very good my friend that I went with also liked his sandwich and beer. The staff was great and everyone seemed to know each other and were very nice. I will be a new regular here for sure. Oh also reasonably priced, beer was $7 sandwich $13.“

“We used to say it felt like homemade food here. I have been eating here for almost a decade. I work down the street and all my coworkers eat or have eaten here. Prices are perfect not overpriced at all. They have range, burgers, sandwiches, chili, salads. I enjoy the cheeseburgers, chicken salad is one of a kind! They let you order a la crate and customize your food however you want. They make breakfast plates or burgers! They ladies up front are extremely nice, they remember your name. They take orders by phone and they never get it wrong. Only downside is they close by 2-2:30? I get off work at 3:30 and sometimes I wish I can take my wife some of the food here. “We have liked Honey Baked Hams for many years and usually will have one or two of them each year. This year we bought a small one for our Christmas dinner. It was small because we are keeping our distance during the pandemic.To get a ham, you will need to order it ahead of time. To pick it up, the order will stay when it will be available. we arrived at this place about 2:00 PM on Tuesday and the line to get in the store showed there were about six people in line. The store is small, and there are other things like deserts available, so the browsing of the people tends to make the line slower than it might be at a less busy time.Our wait to get took about twenty-minutes to go from waiting in line to placing the ham in the trunk. Tomorrow, we'll have the ham and it would surprise me if it wasn't just as perfect as we are expecting.This is small, but nice store. The people are helpful and pleasant.“

“Amazing! My wife has a gluten allergy so can’t go many places and ensure the food is 100% so not worth the risk. But here there’s no worry’s and the price of the food was amazing for the huge portions we got which we both have another meal from. It was truly delicious and made completely fresh. Definitely going back for special occasions and even telling friends who aren’t gluten free. I’m not and the carne asada fries were the best I’ve had. We live in Oceanside and they beat Ramones and Sanchos

“Little hole in the wall deli I found on Google maps. Ordered a pastrami sandwich and was surprised with a bacon turkey club when I got back to my office. Was going to get upset until I took a bite and was amazed on how good the wrong sandwich tasted! I look forward to actually getting a pastrami next time to see how good that is! Good job ladies!
