“I'm long overdue writing a raving review of this donut shop. It had been a family favorite since 2008!
They always have the freshest of donuts and other pastries.

You are greeted by the friendly owner and family.
They have a well stocked fridge with everything from chocolate milk to Monster energy drinks

They are located next to the 7/11
It is a convenient pitstop for snacks or hearty jalapeno ham & cheese croissant. Close to the Inland Rail Trail for the cyclists among us.

They prefer payment with cash but card payment is accepted with a small fee.

They're open 7 days per week, closed on Holidays.

“Ordered a custom graduation cake and wow — they overdelivered. The design matched the inspiration photo to perfection, and the taste? Absolutely delicious. Moist, flavorful, and the kind of cake guests go back for seconds and ask where you ordered it from.

“24/7 you can't go wrong with Yum Yum! No matter what time of day I get there. When the wife has a Caribbean in the middle of the night it's usually for donuts or something of that nature. Up on my feet grab a jacket and out the door I'm on my way and I know yum yum won't let me down, cuz they always deliver.“

The exterior of the fritter was crispy and not too caramelized, the inside was slightly doughy but in a good was and packed full of flavor. Staff were super happy and it rubbed off on me. My wife loved their chocolate icing. Overall if you love donuts give them a try as nothing disappointed us.“

“Such a hidden gem! We've passed Danish & Donuts several times and decided to stop in today after reading the great reviews. Others have shared how stellar the customer service is, and we couldn’t agree more. Sophia instantly made us feel at home and had us smiling and laughing with her the entire time we were there. She let us know their family owned business has been in the community for 40+ years and after trying the donuts it's obvious why. All of the donuts were super fresh, extremely fluffy, and so tasty, while the case and the rest of the shop was well maintained and clean...it's obvious a great amount of heart and care goes into their operation. We chose a variety of apple fritters, donut holes, old fashions, custard-filled, glazed, chocolate, maple, and a cinnamon crunch, cinnamon roll, and sugar twist donut along with a breakfast sandwich. Talk about choices!

I mentioned to Sophia that I had a certain allergy and she immediately offered to special make a modified breakfast option for me without hesitation. We'll definitely be regulars moving forward - support local!“

The donuts are phenomenal, super fluffy and delicious, keep in mind, we stopped by around 2pm, and the donuts were still really good! “Donut World has the best donuts in Escondido. They are soft and don’t taste like burn oil like others. They are fresh very early in the morning. My coworkers love them! The ladies are very friendly.
