3 hours to play the front 9...that's ridiculous. We teed off at 11:40 and baaaarely finished before dark. No Marshall's to help with pace of play. Pro shop won't do anything about it either. I don't mind people sucking at golf but if you're gonna suck, do it quickly. Nice clubhouse/patio but food prices have gone up quite a bit.
Played lakeside a bunch, the pace of play has been extremely slow. Played 12 holes on the 29th of June it look 4.5 hours. The fact that there aren't any marshals speeding up the pace of play as well as any warning letting my twosome as well as myself know that it's extremely backed up it's absolutely ridiculous. I'd love to love this place. And I've tried it multiple times under each of its names and management over the years. It's just so hit and miss to be a regular destination. Greens today were rolling incredibly fast and true, while the fairways and tee boxes were patchy and muddy. The real nail in the coffin is pace.
