Nice coffee shop ☕ pricey
Blue Bottle San Mateo has a reputation of bad service and tipping should be set to NO TIP (default). My son and I went there on Aug 19, 2026 and the young lady who took our order was not friendly. We asked questions and she really was not well informed. I decided to tip and my son immediately asked “why did you tip her” for poor service.
