“5-star alert! My wife surprised me with this delicious Tunisian restaurant on Father’s Day! It was like an exotic trip to Mediterranean North Africa. The servers were good and the owner was super friendly and helpful! We had prawns, fish, lamb, cauliflowers, and the infamous Hand of Fatima. Everything was delicious, with unique flavors and beautifully presented. The sauces were so unique and flavorful, we had 3 orders of bread as we want to enjoy more of the flavors in every dish!“

“Went in for happy hour. Service was great and prices were well under what you would pay at other ramen establishments. The super spicy ramen was good could use a little more heat. I am not a sadistic hot spice eater so believe me when I say that it was good but notquite sneezing and sinus releiving.
Over all great experience for an up and coming area I will be headed back next week!“

The restaurant has had its share of ups and downs but I am happy with how strongly Okane Umi has powered up its menu and added some wonderfully flavorful genuine Japanese dishes. “Good ramen with several options that are not found in many places. Good taste and prices, friendly servers, sometimes parking can be limited, opened until late on Fridays. Reminds me of some of the ramen shops when I was living in Japan. A must try if you’re in LA South Bay area.“

“Delicious food here, it’s a make your own meal type place, like Chipotle. I would choose this place over Chipotle.I had the steak picado burrito. It was huge and stuffed. The steak had a great flavor and good amount of spice. The ingredients are real fresh.“
