“Our family has known Peni, Sherry,there kids and grandkids for over 12 yrs now. Once I saw and smelled the bbq over 12 yrs ago I gravitated towards it and have been a huge fan since. Their island q is the best on the mainland and I recommend trying it all since I don’t have a favorite. You can see the passion and love that this family puts towards sharing a little bit of their heritage through their food with all of us. I highly recommend giving it a try and definitely passing the word to others. Spend some time and say hi and you might also have friends for life. Mahalo 🤙“

“This place is my favorite restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I favor it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to visit this place. when I I need a decent dinner, this restaurant comes first to my head. excellent and all sorts of food and a rich menu.well mannered staff, and great atmosphere. Not less important, the tariff is affordable. I recommend this spot with pleasure.“

“Loved all the protein available- chicken, beef, and lamb. I had mahi fish cassava fries, lamb curry 🤤, and cassava cake! Wife had Rourou w/ tortillas for the vegans. Wait was fair 10-20mins considering it was a busy day. Definitely recommend 🤙“

“The food here is fantastic. I had the Chicken Sandwich, The Chicken Plate, Chicha Morada Drink. The chicken was cooked perfectly, as well as the rice but I love the beets, potatoes, peas, carrots,lime,mayo,salt and pepper side dish. I could eat that everyday. This is definitely the best Peruvian food I have ever had. Please do yourself a favor and try El Causa.“

“Biggest torta I ever had! Big enough to share and packed with meat also pineapples! The tacos , burritos and nachos was so flavorful too! The owner was really nice and friendly made me feel comfortable! There is plenty parking and a cute little seating area and also a park for the kids to play around! Highly recommend!“

“Amazing food! I go here twice a week probably and they even remember my name now. It’s all really good so I switch it up. The buche is unusual so I like to get that and it’s very fresh . Very nice people and clean. My go to is 4 Asada tacos with a chile on the side. You won’t regret making this place a new favorite.“

“Delicious Sandwiches. The flavor is completely different than anything I’ve tried before, the Chorizo sandwich comes in a nice crunchy bread, with a nice salad (Lettuce, tomatoes, onions, some carrots) and the artisan style home made chorizo, Just the combination is out of this world. The service was excellent, very attentive, they have couple of tables if you’d like to eat there.“

“Tried this place yesterday at OTG: Fort Mason. After eating a bunch of other unsatisfying food I just wanted one chicken tender no sauce. Yes one chicken tender. There was a bit of a wait but I was so happy after eating.It was juicy, flavorful and the breading was well seasoned and had a nice crunch to it. The service was friendly and even they still offered me sauce during my pick up. They probably thought wth, but that is truly what I just wanted haha. Anyways try this place!“

“A little truck in the Livermore shopping center, conveniently located behind the food court so you can pick up a more interesting drink than soda!You order through an unmanned kiosk on one side, then pick up on the other side. There were 2 groups before me and they both took some time to order so had a little wait there. The actual ordering process seems simple enough once I got to the kiosk.I decided to get the coco mango drink. The drink is very delicious and refreshing! I can really taste the mango chunks in there. Although it may be slightly misleading, even with the “less sweet” option it was quite sweet. Also I thought they didn’t add any sugar but in the selection there was cane sugar vs 0-calorie sugar (for an additional fee). Anyway, just don’t have any illusion that this is healthy or low-calorie and you’ll be fine. :D“
