Taqueria El Gordito is a popular spot for a late-night bite, offering a wide variety of authentic Mexican food. Its outdoor seating and charming decoration add to its appeal. Customers enjoy their delicious asada tacos, with many praising the spicy salsa that complements the dishes well. The restaurant provides large portions, great service, and is wheelchair accessible, though the inside is small. Recent reviews highlight the quality of their tamales, which are described as absolutely incredible, along with the flavorful pozole, Chile relleno plate, and ham/egg burrito. The tacos, including carne asada, adobada, and birria, are especially loved for their delicious taste and generous servings of sauce, making it a favorite among taco lovers. Many customers mention the excellent music, with a mix of 90s funk and lowrider jams creating a pleasant atmosphere. While some note that the quality of the meat can vary, the overall experience remains positive, with many eager to return and try more menu items, including nachos con birria and the asada burrito.
