As donuts go, this is the place to go Capitol/Santa Cruz. Tasty fresh donuts everywhere. Classic shop layout. Nice service and expect a bit of a wait (10 people in line behind me). A nice surprise is their decadent ham and cheese croissants with jalapeños. One of the best I’ve had and that says a lot coming from a guy that grew up on a south boarder town. Highly recommended.
After all a donut shop, it's ambience is large spacious and very donut shop. But this one is different, It is a VERY good one. The owner treats everyone like a VIP. So much cool unexplored deliciousness. And after all is said and done even the plane old maple ones seem extra good and delicious.
It's been awhile since I've been back there and this morning I was lucky enough to be driving by and decided to go on in and get a delicious cinnamon roll and glazed cronut. Very very nice people there as well. Very friendly. They say hi to all the customers they know by name!!
