At Walnut avenue you can "Go vegan" by subbing the scrambled eggs with scrambled tofu, and they are so good! I had a pesto scramble with tomates, a bagel and a cup of fruit. Walnut Avenue cafe is my favorite breakfast place in Santa Cruz! The food is delicious, the seating is comfortable, and the staff is very nice!
The food, service, and atmosphere, are all outstanding. Our waitress mentioned that they could make most options on the menu vegan. Wow, that was music to my ears. I’m looking forward to my return to Santa Cruz to eat at this wonderful cafe.

Beautiful little cafe with excellent service and fresh choices. We had the whole wheat pancakes and they smelled and tasted delicious.
