“It’s a little decent spot within a little strip mall in Santa Monica. While the strips a little dusty and downward, Lee’s itself is always clean.

I’ve been coming here once in a while for the better part of the past 8 years when occasionally I want decent “fast food” without typically high Santa Monica take out prices.

The 2 combo plate is a good deal. Under $12 bucks. The Orange chicken/ Teriyaki Combo with Chow mien & veggies. The Orange chicken is never tastes like it’s stale and been sitting all day. The Teriyaki Chicken hits pretty well too. It isn’t dry nor tasteless. And the sauce is decent. The Chow mien isn’t classic but it hits the spot. And the portions are large. While I do need a sprite or ginger ale to combat the sodium afterwards, the occasional compromise is worth it 👍🏾“

“Last week I was traveling through LA on my way to Santa Barbara. I had some time to kill so I looked up Poke. Came across this amazing place! I am admittedly new to Poke. The staff took good care of me and I wound up having such a hard decision. I think the spicy Poke might have been might absolute favorite. I can’t wait for my next trip to LA so I can stop there again!“

“We found this place by of chance needing to use the bathroom whilst walking around Venice and what a great find. Staff are lovely and welcoming and attended to us well. The place was very clean and the food was just right and so tasty. I will be returning when I visit again.“

“This is by far my favorite poke on the mainland. I’ve had a lot of poke but after having sea salt I don’t even bother trying anything else. They have amazing rice bases and great variety of fish and sauces. Could not recommend it enough 10/10

“Tasty Hawaiian in El Segundo offers delicious, well-seasoned, and flavorful dishes. We ordered the Loco Moco, Garlic Chicken and Chicken Katsu. The staff was pleasant and friendly, making the experience enjoyable. The decor and dining area are very nice, though it does get quite cold inside, so bring a sweater or jacket if you plan to dine in. They also have a wide variety of Ling Hing snacks, which is a nice bonus. Overall, a great spot with tasty food and a welcoming atmosphere.“

“Lulubowls is absolutely delicious. As someone with Celiac, it’s so exciting to find a place with 100% gluten free menu options. This is the first time I’ve had potstickers in probably 10 years!The food is delicious, so full of flavor, and has great portion sizes. My partner and I both got the peanut butter teriyaki bowl with the bamboo rice and added pineapple and peanuts. Can’t emphasize enough how yummy they were! We also got the Impossible potstickers and the avocado Mac salad. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you, lulubowls!!“

“This is my second time ordering from LuLuBowls (one was on postmates), but this was my first time ordering directly from the LuLuBowls website directly (honestly a much better, and streamlined experience).The food quality is superb, I would like to see a larger portion of rice (or the meat add on) in the bowls in the future. The food feels “clean”, not greasy, and is light enough to make you feel satisfied without feeling like you ate too much. The bowls I tried, were all bursting with surprising umami flavors! “I recently grabbed some takeout, and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken katsu on garlic noodles was a knockout - the chicken was incredibly crispy and flavorful, and the noodles were perfectly garlicky and addictive. The furikake chicken was another winner, with a satisfying crunch and a sprinkle of that magical Hawaiian seasoning.

“Went here with my mother on Friday, September 12, 2025. They have so many delicious looking selections! My mother decided to get the Hawaiian BBQ Trio. It is $15.99 plus taxes. You are provided three different types of meat- pork, beef and chicken and macaroni and rice. I chose the fried rice. It was $13.99 plus taxes. They only advertise the Shrimp Fried Rice and since I'm not a Shrimp fan I asked if I could substitute it for a different meat. The attendant said sure would you like beef or chicken. I opted for the beef. She said no problem and substituted the meat for no extra charge. The food came out very hot within 10 minutes! They also provide bar-b-que sauce for each meal, napkins and forks. We both thought that our food tasted really good. We would definitely go back.“

“I love this place. I go almost at least once a week. The employees are wonderful. I have never had a bad or sad poke bowl. Everything is fresh. Trying to stay on the healthy side, I order small scoop of rice and all the sides they offer except for wasabi. My eyes are bigger than my stomach, but I have always restrain from getting the large. Two scoops of protein, which consist of tuna and salmon. A lovely alternative to fast foods. I highly recommend Mono Poke!“

“I’m pretty picky about poke, and 8oz Poke in Studio City never misses. The fish is consistently fresh, the ingredients are high quality, and everything tastes clean and well-balanced. The sauces are a standout—clearly made by someone who really understands flavor.

If you’re not sure what to get: try salmon + tuna over half rice/half greens with avocado, seaweed salad, edamame, masago, crispy onions, and spicy mayo + ponzu. It’s my go-to and it’s been perfect every time.“

“All About Poke was a good Poke bowl experience, in my opinion. I had tried it before at other locations and remembered it being satisfactory for when I had a poke craving, and after a medium (three protein scoops) bowl I was again satisfied. Notably the salmon and tuna tasted quite fishy in some bites, and pineapple was the only standard fruit option besides mandarin orange slices (which I don’t want to try on poke, personally). But overall, they had most of the standard toppings like edamame, crab, cucumber, ginger, etc, their sauces were tasty, and they served a sizable portion of rice, fish and toppings all. All About Poke will hit the spot if you are nearby and need a nice fresh lunch.“

I have visited this place twice, once right around the time it opened, and then within the past few weeks (where I ordered the Uncle Sharkii bowl, which was well worth the extra few bucks). Both times the food was top-notch and among the best poke I’ve had. While the automated ordering was a bit impersonal, it’s a small price to pay if it means this place stays in business. I can’t speak for other people’s experiences, but I think the overall rating should be way higher than it is. It’s a go-to place for me whenever I’m at CityWalk for the movies, etc“
