About Rae's Restaurant

Rae's Restaurant is a nostalgic 1950's diner that remains a perfect spot for breakfast. The prices are still reasonable, and the food is served quickly, although presentation may not be a focus. The Rae's Special Omelette with chicken, onions, zucchini, and cheese continues to be tasty, alongside the 2 eggs, 2 sausage, and biscuit meal, which customers especially love. The staff is friendly and hardworking, providing good service, even during busy times. The restaurant has recently been freshened up, making it feel brighter while still keeping its fun, funky throwback style. The updated outdoor seating area has become adorable, and customers recommend sitting at the counter to enjoy the full experience. The new Tuesday Chilaquiles special is worth getting up early for and is considered one of the best in the city. Thanks to a new cash register, customers can now pay with credit cards. The restroom code must still be requested from the staff, and parking on nearby streets is recommended to avoid tickets, although there is a small parking lot available. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible and offers vegetarian options like veggie burritos, veggie omelets, salads, and veggie burgers, making it a good choice for those with dietary restrictions. With its simple nostalgia, clean facility, and good employees, Rae's is a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic American diner experience.

The food is really good diner food with great prices.
incredible place , specially if you like googie and mid century architecture.
Came here on Labor Day morning for breakfast. The place is nice and cozy inside. It was busy but I got seated quickly. The staff are friendly.
I ordered eggs, sausage and potatoes with whole wheat toast. The food came out at a pretty descent time. The food was good. It was breakfast, I didn’t order much. They do have a decent amount of stuff on the menu. Definitely will be back.
