I was excited to finally try this place because I was told that vegan options are available. I tried the young jackfruit and cauliflower tacos which were very tangy and tasted pretty much the same. The tacos came in a combination plate with a bowl (really a cup) half filled with beans and half filled with rice. I wasn’t really impressed. On the positive, the restaurant is located in a nice part of Santa Monica where you can go do some shopping or head down to the pier.

We really enjoyed our first experience at a Trejo's and would be happy to try another one closer to where we're staying. The burritos were huge and the Margaritas were pretty good too. Had to buy a T-shirt as a souvenir.

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat and was pleasantly surprised with their Taco Tuesday options. For $20, I got 5 different street tacos and a basket of chips + salsa. I really enjoyed the Cauliflower taco the mose because the grill flavor was so intense and the texture for this veggie was perfect.

Atmosphere was very relaxed, but the chairs were a bit uncomfortable. Service was nothing special as you order at the front kiosk and they deliver to your table.
