“Third time coming in here! Ordered an espresso and a cortado of their Anaerobic Natural Costa Rica Black Diamond this morning, and the whole order was absolutely delicious it hit all the flavor notes! Torque Coffee is the place to go if you’re looking for a specialty espresso or pour-over. Shoutout to Michelle & Taylor, who show such care and attention to detail that’s rare to find it truly comes through in both the taste and presentation (they even preheat the SPRO cup if you’re ordering in-house!). It’s easy to see why Torque is a neighborhood favorite — I always look forward to my next visit!“

“This is a cool coffee spot in Lakeside, a suburb of San Diego. It's mostly a drive thru, but I did walk up to order an iced coffee, and they still served me.
The iced coffee with 2% milk was relatively inexpensive at $3.50 plus tax, essentially for $4. It was pretty good coffee with a smooth start but it did have a slight bitterness towards the end. It was a good coffee nevertheless.
Service was very friendly. It's too bad they don't offer a small seating area.“

“I would’ve loved to give this place 5/5, but the heat in the store is miserable. I feel extremely bad for the girls working efficiently in the heat. Coffee is good, matcha looks good but not my thing.
I recommend the owner look into getting a real AC instead of dingy fans. I understand it’s a store-front coffee shop, but the heat was circulating in the shop from those fans. It felt unclean, sticky, and muggy inside.“

Owner, Clint is incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely cares for each customer..eye contact, listener, and will share experiences with you.Folks that stop by either ride (any and all bikers are welcome), or not, and come by for a cup of Joe, and a chat. Clint, has genuine care for the Rider, and for Veterans. Many years ago, I stopped by and introduced by 9 yr old son to him while he worked at the radio station..my son has since become a 11B Grunt veteran, and now 30yr old Realtor in San Diego.Come by to chat, have a cup of Joe, ride or enjoy the weekend morning at Motorcycle Monkey Shop!
