“This is my favorite coffee spot in CA. Ruben is an incredible barista and is extremely knowledgeable about Coffee. His assortment of single origin coffee varietals is like going to a wine bar and having a tasting. He has an entire chart based on the origins of the coffee you are tasting and has direct connections to the Coffee and where it comes from. This is my go to coffee spot if I want to drink pure coffee. He will take you on a journey and give you more information than you could ever learn on your own. This is by far my favorite coffee spot in the world. Oh, and take your kids since there’s a Koi pond that you can feed next to it. If you have a home espresso machine, I highly recommend his espresso blend as you’ll pull the best shots you’ll ever make. Definitely worth a visit.“

“Wonderful coffee and service. Got the Honduran dark roasted San Jacinto Typical and the Colombian decaf. Excellent delivery service and super nice. I prepared the french press coffee using a burr-grinder (mid-large) and 80C water (typical methods). One obvious stand out to all other coffee I have had: they were both very smooth with no bitterness at all. The decaf has flavours of sweet vanilla and chocolate and is the tastiest decaf I have ever tasted. The dark roasted San Jacinto is a peppery dark chocolate that just brings joy and purpose into my day. Amazing.“

But I can't because I have a subscription to their coffee but they sent me the wrong coffee. it's been about a week, I've call a few times, left two voice mail messages, I've emailed as well and I have not gotten any response at all. The coffee I bought and subscribed to is good, but I can't continue to do business with a company that won't respond to their customers to fix their mistakes.“

“If you’re looking for a cozy spot in Escondido with a laid-back vibe and great service, Kettle Coffee and Tea is the place to be. The atmosphere is super casual, making it perfect for hanging out or getting some work done. The staff is friendly and quick, which is always a plus. Their sandwiches are delicious! I had a BLT that they customized for me by adding sprouts, spinach, and cheese. I even added extra bacon—because, really, who doesn’t love more bacon? The sandwiches are always on point here. I did have a funny little mix-up during my visit. I went to the counter to check on my regular drip coffee with three shots of espresso (I love my coffee strong!) and the lady said, “Here’s your BLT!” Confused, I replied, “I’m already eating one but it wasn’t the one I had ordered but that’s ok because I was hungry.” Turns out they printed my ticket twice. I offered to pay for the extra sandwich, but they insisted it was on the house. I ended up giving the extra BLT to one of our local homeless residents, which felt good. Overall, Kettle Coffee and Tea is a fantastic spot with yummy food and a welcoming staff. Definitely recommend!“
