I came here with a buddy while on a business trip and this place is fantastic! The atmosphere was great, the place was very clean, and the owner was absolutely amazing. Well, compared to Penny Ice Creamery where it’s all homemade and fresh, I would prefer that. Though, here in Scotts Valley, there’re not that many choices. This Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard is also a nice place to go fix the sweet craves. Their creamy frozen custard is delicious and their Italian ice is coolingly refreshing.

Stephanie that works there was super friendly and accommodating. I went with my partner and he ordered a milkshake and they were out of milk, so she improvised and used the custard liquid instead - making it an even more delectable treat! She even let me try a sample even though I wasnt getting anything. Would highly recommend :)
