“I have to admit, I wasn’t expecting the food to be this exceptional. And that is because sometimes chain establishments are not great. However, Camille suggested a couple of dishes for us and they did not disappoint and in fact I would’ve licked the plates if it was publicly appropriate. I highly recommend the biscuits and gravy and short rib hash!!!!! Omg so delicious!! I can’t wait to come back for more!!!“

“Always have a great meal at Simmzy’s. I had cauliflower tacos and they were excellent (and I’m not a vegetarian). Sweet potato fries were great. I’m the past I’ve had the chicken tortilla soup- it’s one of the best! Pet and child friendly.“

“A good friend recommended that I visit the Wet Dog Tavern for the first time, and I was immediately blown away by the interiors. Everything was clean and modern, and I kept telling my friend about how I liked that the front windows were big and unobstructed by signage. I like being able to see inside of a bar from the patio, otherwise I feel disconnected from what's happening inside. Being able to watch the Karaoke going on inside is a huge plus, and I think it's a smart way to attract foot traffic into a bar too. Everyone inside was so happy too!“

“I can tell the menu changes because other reviews and pictures had stuff I really wanted to try and was sad to find it not there. This is a good thing tho! Likely means they change seasonally, and it being a smaller menu, you know they keep things more fresh rather than having a bunch of frozen, ready items.
Their breakfast menu does have a lot of options! Staying at the hotel a week and I have tried almost all of it! The So Cal breakfast wrap (even tho I removed the chorizo) and the breakfast quesadilla! My husband LOVED the cheesecake French toast (me too honestly!)
Because of the morning staff, Tomas the host and our waitress Anabel, I looked forward to the start of each day. Anabel impressed me the second day when she remembered by very specific drink order from the first day and I have been so happy to see her since!
Dinner time, we have come a few times and things are pricy, but well made and tastey!!
Just sad they don't have soup options. I want to try more on the menu, but won't get the chance 🙁“

“It was great to visit Long Beach Beer Lab after stopping by their vendor booth last year at Taste of Arcadia. They have such a great selection of beers and the pinball machines are a great addition to an already cool looking space. I didn't try their food but it did look good.“
