“Great old school local spot near Knott's Berry farm. Good food and extensive menu with large portions at decent prices. The lounge has tons of TVs for sports. Full bar and decent amount of beers on tap and in bottles. Larry at the bar was outstanding. I'll be back!

“I’m not a bar person at all. Don’t like loud places or overly intoxicated people screaming and yelling. This place isn’t too bad noise wise. Went on a Friday at 5:30pm and there weren’t too plant unruly folk.
They have a pretty cool program where they let middle school kids bands play on the stage.
The live music was very loud. Over 90 decibels.

Pizza was actually really good. Had a thin crust pepperoni and the cheese and seasonings were great.

Service is hit and miss. If you want a drink or food you have to either wait for a bartender to notice you or order on your phone and then track down the person bringing the food out. This gets really hectic when it’s busy.“

We all liked our food - it was "good" (OK would sound as if any of us had been unhappy) - good burgers and fries. Unless I would be asked by someone to join particularly there, I doubt I would go again. It's not a "No" to the restaurant itself, it is a "Yes" to all the other great places on the same street I have not explored yet. So again, if you want to check out games and have a great night out with like-minded, this is highly recommended.“

“Everything great deli should be. I work 5 minutes down the road from this place and had never eaten there until this week. Now, I’ll be frequenting it because it was so yummy. They have SO many delicious and creative sandwich options. And they are very accommodating and allow you to customize anything to your liking. And the staff is super nice. Our cashier was so helpful when placing our order - she listened to what I wanted and steered me towards the perfect sandwich. And it was super delicious - I got the hot pastrami on a roll with Swiss, mustard, and pickles. One of the best pastrami sandwiches I’ve ever had!!! Can’t wait to go back!!!“

All the musicians who played outside in the outdoor eating area were there for The International Day of Music . The ladies greeted us two strangers with big smiles and huge welcomes. They quickly offered us drinks and menus then, gave us the low down on specials and a lil history of the bar. We felt at home immediately. That was just the beginning! The bloody marys were on point, freshly made (no mix crap), and the food! We ate every bit of it! “We were visiting in Long Beach from Colorado because we had to dog sit our grandog for 2 weeks. We love coffee and our Broncos. That weekend they were playing the Bills. We stumbled upon Altar Society and watched the second half of the game there. When we walked in wearing our Broncos gear there was another local young couple there wearing theirs. They immediately clapped as we walked in so we sat next to the table next to theirs to have appetizers and a dessert. It was a fun game to watch with other fans. The food was good. The next morning, we walked over there to check out their Coffee since we noticed that they also offer coffee and muffins. What a unique concept. We need an Altar Society near us in Colorado. GO Broncos!“
