“The food is classic Japanese but I have to say the sushi is real and very fresh. Not premade soggy limp stuff. Their sushi bar and food is real. They prep and fillet the fresh fish there and cut and serve to order. My adult kids like the steak and that is very good too. I work nearby and noticed the place is always busy at lunch with lots of business men enjoying a good meal. Lunch servise is fast and respectful of short lunch hours for the business men. I go there often when I want to treat myself to a nice lunch, have business lunches with clients, and take the staff for a birthday dinner. Perfect place.“

The Wonderful Smell ofHabachi made food encircled my nose &I knew i was in for a treat !!We were helped with our food selections over the phone & Greeted with a Smile.Our order was hot & ready !! “I definitely enjoyed my meal here. My family was seated to left where there was a single grill, so we weren’t bothered by anyone else.There are seven grills and it’s a cozy little place. I was here on a Sunday at 6:30pm and it was packed. I had three different servers attend to my table which was impressive. Our soft drinks were never empty. The food was delicious. Just as good as any other hibachi chain.The drink menu is limited to a few beers and wine. No cocktails here.I was impressed by the cleanliness of the place. Servers constantly picking up finished dishes and sweeping the floors. The men’s bathroom I thought was really clean. It stood out to me.I also enjoyed seeing our steaks cooked separately and served to us directly. Even though they were all cooked to the same temperatures.I feel another places might take an order of 2 steaks or more at the same temperature and cook them all together mixing them up. Then dividing them once they are done. I feel I might not get the whole steak I ordered if it was done that way. So thank you for not doing that. I will come back soon because of that.“
“Pepper Lunch exceeded my expectations! The jumbo beef sizzling plate was fantastic--tender beef, well-seasoned rice, and the added bonus of complimentary sides for Yelp check-in made it even better. The affordability of the meal was a pleasant surprise. The availability of various sauces and seasonings at the counter allowed me to customize my dish. “Again, those of you who have read my posts, know I'm in favor of small businesses, and this is no different. It's small, quaint, and has a cozy tiki theme. Half price happy hour is between 4pm and 7pm, take advantage of this and you won't be disappointed! We ordered a little of everything since we're foodies at heart! The Sunburn was my favorite, honestly though, there wasn't a bad sushi choice that we tried, they were all tasty and fresh! The pupu platter is a great choice to try a sample of food, I do feel the chicken wings were over sauced and, therefore, soggy, but that was the only criticism that I have. We also ordered an array of sushi, garlic edamame, and a chicken plate of teppanyaki... all were very full of flavor and the chicken was moist, melted in our mouths! The parking lot is super small and fills quickly, as this is a local favorite! Come down and support your local small business!“

“The food is great, and the service is a little slow. It could be that they were understaffed or overbooked since we waited nearly 30 minutes with a reservation. It took 15 minutes to receive a glass for a beer. The pleasant demeanor of the staff made up for the delays. I'm sure we'll be back again.“
