I was not sure what to expect. And I was blown away. Everything is homemade from the tortillas to the sauces. I felt like I'm being fed food by someone who is making food like they would for their family. An absolute privilege. Friendly and attentive staff to too. And the prices were very reasonable, I think the other person went to a different place.
Located in the Veteran's Hall in Seaside, this one family show spot is the most authentic and delicious Oaxacan food in the 831. The señora was super sweet, kind and funny despite her arm being broken! Her energy and love can be tasted in the food she makes. Sundays are their goat meat (chivo) specials, so fortunately it was a Sunday when I drove by there. I went for the taco Oaxaqueño de chivo which was the size of a burrito!
