“I’m always doubtful when I see a 5 star review, but this neighborhood gem certainly deserves it. The staff is friendly, everything is clean, but the food!!! We ordered the family plate (to eat there) which was to feed 4, and we could only eat about half - it could feed 4 growing teenagers. Everything they brought out was delicious. There was a plate of pickled vegetables, a bowl of fantastic hummus with pita, a large plate of garlic fries, a plate full of grilled vegetables, and a large platter full of grilled meats. Everything was flavored to perfection. The beef kabob was cut-with-a-fork tender. I would definitely come back. The only problem is that it is too close to home and I’d be temped to go too often!“

We ordered 25 for 3 of us, which seemed like a lot but we killed it - 15 lamb, 5 chicken, 5 chicken heart(?). Wouldn’t recommend the chicken was a bit dry.

The spicy lamb is actually very spicy, but also addicting so couldn’t stop. Appreciated the refillable banchan.

We had to wait about 15 min. It’s a small restaurant with limited tables and the grill doesn’t cook them very fast.“

But the food here is straight up. Amazing! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but what introduced me to this place was their burgers which are just incredible. I just got one after so long and I just couldn't help but notice that it looks like the Real life version of the Krabby Patty

Went yesterday to the grand opening. The antonyan family literally operated the the restaurant. Vardan and his dad were in the back cooking and Suzie and marine were at the front taking orders and handing out the meals. Jonah was out there greeting everybody asking how everything is and all

Since David's vlogs I always wanted to try jonahs dad's kabob and they are really really good. They served them in a wrap with fries. Very simple menu and Susie was super nice and attentive. Over this place is awesome and the antonyan family are super cool and funny just like in the vlogs. They are loud and funny.

“Fei Xiang Gong (Na Rae Goong in Korean)- 2nd floor plaza off Western and 4thPlace was packed for a Thursday night. There were 5 parties before us. Took about 20 minutes to be sat. Service is quick and food came out equally as fast.Chinese Skewers- Specifically Lamb and Beef. Also ordered chicken hearts and a quail.The cumin based dry spice mix that is rubbed on and offered as a dry dip accents the meat so well! There was also a kochujang based and sambal chili based dip that I ignored. The lamb wasn't gamey at all. We set all the skewers on the auto rotating grill till they were lightly charred all around, then set them on the top rack to keep warm.The smokey seasoned scent, light charred initial flavor, the pop of the outer layer... the warm, meaty juices that flowed out following...This entire plaza changed since last I came. Used to have a Seafood grill pace like Jaebudo in the location. I can confidently say it is my new favorite Chinese Skewer restaurant!

“This place is really REALLY good. To give you folks context, it’s a small restaurant off the food court in a Mall. So, you kind of go in thinking you’re going to get “mall food”.

But, no. Not at Kabab Lab (silly name, AMAZING food). Their combo plates come with a lot of rice, salad (with a great dressing), pita, humas, and excellent chicken and beef. Well cooked, juicy, well seasoned… it’s one of those places that “you have a taste for…” once you’ve tried it.

I cannot recommend it highly enough, but i can tell you that I keep coming back. I’d rather endure The Mall and have an excellent, delicious, well prepared meal instead of hitting some of my local places that aren’t nearly as good.

The restaurant is always very clean and well lit. It can get crowded but it’s the Mall so there is a lot of fast turn over. Plus there are another 100 tables in the common area if you aren’t in the restaurant itself.

The staff is always friendly and the cooks clearly know what they are doing.

Do yourself a favor and give it a try.“
