He was kind, welcoming, and went out of his way to make sure my order was exactly how I wanted it. “I’m pretty picky about poke, and 8oz Poke in Studio City never misses. The fish is consistently fresh, the ingredients are high quality, and everything tastes clean and well-balanced. The sauces are a standout—clearly made by someone who really understands flavor.

“Affordable prices for quality ingredients and good portion sizes. Whether I order a poke bowl or hand rolls, I always get their spicy tuna (which is actually spicy) and their ahi tuna. I really like their bulgogi roll as well but they’re very skimpy on the sauce which is alway a little disappointing (but clearly doesn’t stop me from ordering it again). I tried their shrimp tempura roll tonight and it is fine, nothing special. Not really a sit-down place but the staff is always nice when I pick up my orders.“

It’s a pick your base (rice, veggies, etc) then select your protein with sides such cucumbers, pickled radish plus plus this and that.. sauces and sesame seeds or fried onions.
