“I found this place looking for good food, and it is the best I have eaten in the SF Valley, the pupusas and the breakfast with egg and chorizo (they were my choice) have authentic Salvadoran flavor. Unfortunately I don't have photos to show but if you visit this place you won't regret it.“

“The pupusas are good, we ordered beans and cheese with loroco, some with rice and others with corn. Very friendly service, the two men who attended us.
The very Salvadoran horchata.

“Amazing food, my girlfriend and I stumbled upon this place while walking. The host was so friendly, explained the menu and answered our questions as we are new to Salvadoran food. The prices are great too. We will be coming back for sure!!!“

“Biggest thing to know is that is cash only. The place is very compact, but homey.
Good food, and well seasoned. Only issue was how expensive it was. Parking is a little tough, but worth it for a little piece of Central America here in LA. Posting the latest menu updates circa 09/2024“

“Definitely, the cuisine is very delicious, the typical Salvadoran flavor is perfect, the grilled winged breast with onions is delicious with the flavor of rice and fried beans, not to mention, and the grilled shrimp is also wooo, what a delicious thing and the juices are a delight, they are not so sweetened They are perfect for the palate but the best comes here the pupusas are a very well made quality like typical Salvadoran not greasy at all and eaten in so many restaurants and the pupusas are so greasy that your hands fill with grease when you touch them to say more Better visit this restaurant so that you can make up for what I'm saying. The only thing that's bad is that there's no parking, but you can always find it around you ????%100“

“I could tell by the hole in the wall look and counter stocked with various Salvadorian products from snacks to baby lotion that this was going to be a good spot. Everything is fresh and made to order (including the oj!), the portions are generous, and the prices are great. The service was quick and friendly. I will certainly be back!!!
Dietary restrictions: I follow an anti inflammatory diet and i dont eat potato or gluten it was noce to have options like yuca on the menu!“

“It is a place where they sell food with a rich, pleasant flavor and good customer service from the moment they enter the business.
Parking: It is a not very big place like all the others, there are days when it is full, days when it is regular and when it is full there is not much parking and you have to wait a certain amount of time until a customer finishes and you grab a parking space or the balet parking lot. He leaves one and takes it to park.
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes there are.“

“The pupusas were delicious. They were the perfect thickness; there was plenty of filing, and the masa was not too thick. Cooked to perfection, they were not greasy at all. We enjoyed a nice selection of the different types offered. Our party included a Salvadoran who knows his pupusas. We also ordered a plate of rice, beans, and fried plantains. They were wonderful. We definitely will be going back. The staff were courteous and very helpful. Everything was clean and tidy inside of the restaurant.“

“The pupusas are good, the pata soup is given to you without any nerve and pansa, just vegetables and soup that taste good, but that's why I won't buy the plantain empanadas again, they are terrible, I had to throw them away, they should improve the quesadillas if they are good and the pupusas.“

“Parking is horrible. Not their fault. Their sweet bread is delicious. A lot of talking between the employees it's hard to hear when they are asking you a question. The bakery itself is very small. I haven't tried their food but the sweet bread is good.“

“Great environment, the food was good, service was good just confirm what you're getting so there are no mistakes on the bill. Saturdays are a great day to go since there is live music, a bit loud when the band is playing I think they should take breaks so that people can talk but LIVE music can beat that.

“Good place to eat Salvadoran food. Price for pupusas are good for their sizes and pretty cozy atmosphere. If they are closed, DO NOT eat at the place next door. One of my family members got sick from eating there.“

“Delicious hot food, refreshing drinks, and fresh papusas. Friendly, fast service. Some entres tend to be very light on salt. A request I have for this place is to please place bilingual signage in front of each food item for easy identification and ordering. Although, they do have a menu on the wall, it's difficult to read for some. Other than that, food is fresh, hot, and delicious!“

“Oh, foods that I missed eating from my country and here I find them, even their seasoning is the same as mine, how funny he is, Salvador, it's good that here they haven't lost the reason for cooking, it's knowing that he doesn't just cook for a client, yes. not for someone in the family.“

“I went in 20 minutes before closing when you’d expect the worst service but actually I received the best service! After my terrible experience with Mi Casita on Vanowen and Kester, I came here as my last resort. My pupusas were filled with flavor and not dry at all, the sauce was great and the curtido could of been better it takes more refrigerated. They also sell charamuscas here and their horchata is the best. The ladies were extremely nice and I got my order in less than 15 minutes. I’m definitely coming back here!“

“The people that are complaining about the customer service or the kid at the front are just straight being sensitive. I believe the kid is young and unexperience and also timid hes still learning as for the ladie in the kitchen she seem koo to me and besides she's working she can be communicating while cooking lol. As for the food is great! Best pupusas I tried so far. You can taste the love put in the food.“

“The delicious food. But the waitress is super terrible, she gets upset when you ask her to bring you something else, if you talk to her she doesn't stop she keeps walking and only sees you again. I will continue going for the food. I hope the lady changes her attitude.“
