“I’ve had delicious meals and friendly service in this corner cafe in downtown Sierra Madre. The minestrone and tomato basil soups taste freshly made and are served with panini grilled vegan bread. The Vegan Delight smoothie is quite tasty, made with almond milk, banana, spinach and PB Fit. I took a bite of my husband’s Caribbean Panini made with vegan chicken and vegan provolone and enjoyed the combination of flavors. Sometimes they have vegan pastries from Homeboy Industries. The prices are reasonable, the restaurant very clean and the service has always been friendly. Staff are knowledgeable about the menu items that are vegan.“

“Everything is so fresh and yummy - all the fruits in my acai bowls and smoothies have been so sweet. And the service is friendly. There's often no parking out in front so you'll have to circle around and park in one of the Sierra Madre lots. There's some seating in the plaza across the street. AHHH I wish I lived closer so I could come several times a week! Highly recommended.“

“I had a tooth that was giving me the worst pain over the weekend. I called on Monday early afternoon and was able to be seen the same day. Crystal the dental assistant was great! She told me Dr. Ramirez would make sure I didn’t feel any pain. I ended up having to have 2 teeth extracted and with no pain at all. I have a new Dental office! Great job ladies 😁“

“These are some tasty chicken and rice meals and refreshing, sweet drinks!

I was in the area for lunch when I came across Burd Chicken Rice. The menu and reviews intrigued me and made me hungry. Most of the menu featured dark meat chicken, and the Lemongrass Burrito caught my eye. I placed my order, which arrived at our table in a few minutes. The burrito had a delicious and clean flavor. The chicken was tender, the rice was nicely seasoned, and the veggies added a fresh texture. The ginger scallion sauce added a punch of acidity that complimented it well.

My friend enjoyed his Mix Burd Plate, which included classic and lemongrass chicken. After our meal, I decided to try the Cane Passion drink for the drive home. It was refreshing and sweet.

It was my first time here, and it was a pleasant experience with friendly staff and clean dining areas. I hope to return to the area to try more items or get that burrito again!“

“Great little spot in Highland Park. Lots of fresh juices to choose from as well as other fresh options for a healthy lunch or snack, I've never had the same thing. Everything is made fresh in a few moments. Each drink I've had is evenly balanced and very tasty. Go to spot for fresh juice and healthy treats.“

“This place was so amazing! I specifically want to talk about the service because it was phenomenal. Zen was amazing, and he had a great attitude and was super kind and interactive. He gave us an unforgettable experience. 100% would recommend.“

“Healthy healthy... HEALTHY! If this fatty can indulge here, so can you. This is probably the healthiest food and drink shop in a 20 mile radius. The fresh fruit smoothies are amazing and sandwiches to die for. I'm always stuck with... Should I get Chinese? May be a burger? Tacos sound good too... But when this spot comes on my radar, it ends up in top of my list.

“They were open later than our normal acai place, so we decided to give this place a try... I won't be needing the other Acai place, this will be my go to place instead. more vegan options, better toppings (loved the cashew crunch typing), and they didn't charge extra for nut-butters. Acai bowl was one of the best I've had.“

“I ordered their Hokkaido milk tea with boba at 50% sweetness. It was my first time trying Hokkaido here and the flavor is not my favorite so I would opt for a regular milk tea next time. The boba was chewy and tasted good and the employee working at the time was friendly. I’d come again to try their other drinks if I’m in the area.“

It's surprisingly hard to find modern cafe that does full sit-down services with utensils and cups, so I'm glad I found this one. “Pressed Juicery is a refreshing juice place who serves cold press juices. If you aren't familiar with cold press, it is juice extracted by using 1000 pound of pressure to extract juices from fresh fruit and there is no heat or oxidation used in the process resulting in fresh juices as if you are eating the fruit itslef. They also have smoothie bowls loaded with fresh fruit. This place has juices already pressed and in bottles to sell. They have VIP packs which you can get 6 bottles for $30 which $5.50 a bottle. When i tried cold pressed juice for the first it was so refreshing and i can feel my body saying thank you. This place can get really busy but worth the wait but i think they can use one more person to fill the online orders that come in. Good stuff!“

“First time trying and I was impressed with the color and taste of the Spirulina smoothie. I can say this is a highly tasty and delicious smoothie, brought me back to life quite literally! The young gentleman at the counter was super kind and attentive to any questions I had. I already knew I was going to come back and it looks like they have a painting event at the store as well. “New Boba spot and I love it. Their prices are very reasonable and I love that their boba is always fresh and soft. I always order off the swirl menu. Add creme brulee to your drink. They also have fries, onion rings, and cheese sticks. Love the plain cheese sticks, only thing missing is the marinara sauce. They give ranch but I don't like their ranch. It tastes weird. I tried the plain onion rings extra crispy. They are ok but leave a grainy after taste. I'll stick to the cheese sticks. But I love their boba. I go almost every day“

“The prices are good, and the drinks are good! I couldn’t give five stars for the service because I asked for an extra watermelon smoothie and the guy said he didn’t want to cut open another watermelon to make my second smoothie. Not great customer service. Other than that the customer service was OK. There’s only two chairs to sit down and wait for your drink inside the place. There is no place to drink or hang out or eat at this place. It only has a little waiting room for you to pick up your drinks. That’s it.“

I've been here twice and have tried the fresh shrimp and tofu spring rolls with terrific accompanying sauce, flavorful chicken fried rice, shrimp pho with delicious broth, and the lovely Lychee fruit tea! Yum! Totally coming here again... and bringing more friends. Mangosteen has a clean, modern atmosphere, primarily indoors with a couple of outdoor tables. Friendly and helpful customer service.“
