“I recommend the Signal Hill Restaurant, but keep an eye on your time to get your order. Make sure they get it ready. Wow, worst time ever here. I ordered and kept waiting for my order..... Never called my number. I went up to the counter and asked, the manager looked at his screen and looked confused. I held out the receipt, he thought it was too close to him and got mad. THEY NEVER HAD MY ORDER IN THEIR SYSTEM. (or lost it) NOT the best experience here. Horrible service here today. I did stick my arm out straight and maybe it was too close to his face, but he looked confused and couldn't find my order on his display. There was NEVER any mention being sorry or "I can't seem to find your order".“

“Dropped in for my birthday, we’ve been coming to this shack for over 10 years. Come to find out the previous owners sold to a new amazing couple. Which kept the original flavors, menu and recipes. Still high standards with great flavor, and great portions. We stopped by a little after 10-11 am and got chatting with the couple who now owns the business and how they got it. A really amazing story and so so friendly, they gave our children a couple small dishes of sherbet while we chatted with them and waited for our burgers. Wish to have stayed and chatted longer but had to road trip back home. We will still be coming back as often as we can. WE LOVE POCKET BURGER!! ❤️“

“This was a great find right on the beach. The burgers are over the top yet well executed. Be ready to bring your appetite.
Be ready to find parking. Better to park on the main streets and walk a couple of smallish blocks or ride your motorcycle.“

“The best customer service on the map. April took my call right before 9 they close at 9:30 I made it there. Got my order and my food was hot the manager served me and met these ladies I almost cried they were so nice. I fly home to NC tomorrow and had to have a SmashBurger and they accommodated I got what I came for and great service. I love them and will be back in October with my cowgirls“

“My go to fried burger spot. The best in town! Simple menu out of a simple burger shack. Fries, hotdogs, chips and canned sodas for a very fair price. Big burgers! Great flavor. Everything is made to order. Nothing sits around getting cold.
The shack is small and sits in the corner of a gas station parking lot. They're are 3 picnic tables to sit and enjoy your food. So, bring the atmosphere yourself. Easy to do with the right friends or make new ones when you share a table.
You'll be passing the good word forward once you try it.“

“We run a busy DIY art studio nearby, and Fantastic Cafe is one of our go to places when we get really busy and need something to go, or when we need an extra energy pickup at the start/end of a long day. Our favorite is the two for one hamburger special after 4 PM, but we also love the patty milk with extra onions, the big, hot fries, and breakfast. Watch out for their milkshakes. They’re huge and addicting.“

“I commute 97 miles for work, one way, and I'm always craving something for the road. Whether coffee or a burrito... they keep me awake. I've tried some burger spots but never a bang in flavor until now, Apollo will be my new pit stop. Both burger and fries were flavorful. I'll continue to try more“

Kid-friendliness: The employees seemed genuine and nice with conversation and interaction. So I'm sure they would treat them with friendliness as well.

“We tried the Cheeseburger with grilled onions and fries and O.M.G. I couldn’t finish mine. It’s a huge burger and a good amount of fries for not a lot of money. We used to drive all the way to L.A. for the best burgers NOT ANYMORE!!!!! The prices are AWESOME and the service is AWESOME. Sorry I gotta go we’re on our way back to Bob’s, it’s that once every two - three months guilty pleasure. 🥰🤣🥰🤣“

“I worked late last night in Gardena and was looking for a place to eat dinner. I am on the Keto diet and was thrilled to find that this diner had several salad options. I ordered the Greek salad with chicken and it was terrific. The salad was huge! The only downside is that the Greek olives had pits, which is the pits. Lots of chicken though and a ton of Feta cheese. Delicious!“

“This place is really good. 1st time at this place. Have driven by this place many times. Menu is very simple. Plates are very generously portioned and sauced meat. You get a toasted hamburger bun as a sided bread it's good. Customer service was good as well. The hamburgers are good as well however the meat patties are thin Incase your a super meat lover you might want to add a patty or two. Will be returning.“

“Last week I had a burger and fries and today I had the comisky dog and chili cheese fries. The burger and fries were delicious. I'm originally from Chicago so I know my stuff and while the Comisky wasn't an authentic Chicago dog, it was still pretty good. The chili cheese fries were great. The chili was meaty with alot of beans ( real chili does not have beans but I digress) and generous.“
