“What a cute diner! Even has a drive thru. I found them via Door Dash pick up option. Glad I came. I also really like that there's booths, will be back to sit in. Generous portions; compatible for price points. I got the yummy signature omlette and was happy to see they had a gravy option in which I asked for on the side with a biscuit. The gravy was not spicy which I appreciate. Definitely fuel food to get my day started right; though I might take a nap first 😅✅️“

“Service was excellent, anntentive motivational. I'll invest in this turn if possible. Thank y. And God bless“

“I had the pleasure of dining at Denny’s in South Gate last Sunday, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience, largely thanks to our server, Jessica, and the outstanding management team. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. Jessica, our server for the evening, made us feel right at home. She was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. Her recommendations were spot-on, and she ensured that our drinks were always topped up and our orders arrived promptly. What truly impressed me was Jessica’s dedication to ensuring our dining experience was perfect. She went above and beyond to accommodate our requests, making sure our food was prepared exactly as we wanted it. Her attention to detail and genuine concern for our satisfaction were evident throughout the meal. The management team at Denny’s South Gate deserves special recognition as well. They maintained a well-organized and clean restaurant, and it was evident that they prioritize customer satisfaction. It’s clear that they have instilled a culture of excellence among their staff, and it reflects in the exceptional service we received. The food at Denny’s was delicious, and the overall atmosphere was pleasant. However, it was the outstanding service provided by Jessica and the effective management that truly made our visit memorable. I would highly recommend Denny’s in South Gate to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. With professionals like Jessica and a top-notch management team, you’re guaranteed to have a wonderful time. Kudos to them for their dedication to delivering excellence in hospitality!“

“It's warm and friendly. 🥰“

“I actually ordered their chicken and waffle for breakfast and not thinking this can be that great (because I didn't choose this place but my mom did 😬). However, to my surprise, the Belgium waffle was huge and has a very good texture with a special dough. And Man, that chicken thigh is something else! I love that chicken was marinated first, then fired (or baked) so it's juicy and not dry at all! Not to even mention the Hispanic servers there can speak Chinese so that's why they can draw my mom back (and now me)! 🤣 👏 Bravo Nano Cafe 👏“

“Our server Abigail was very good and our food was very delicious. We love this dennys and friendly atmosphere Highly recommend this dennys“

“The Thursday - Sunday late evening/overnight staff is amazing! I've been coming here pretty much weekly since July 2021 and they have become like family, especially our regular server Lupe. The night manager is cool and when he gets on the stove his food is out of this world! They got a new cook a few months ago and they are great with consistently producing comfort, especially the fries (and I'm VERY picky about my fry consistency).“

“We love going there at least 3 to 4 times a week everyone is really friendly and welcoming especially the manager Velia Campos she told me about the air oven and we love the chicken highly recommend Whittier Denny’s“

“Great service, good chips and salsa, café de olla served in big talavera mugs was perfection. Chilaquiles were flavorful and steak was buttery. Menudo was great with tortillas hechas a mano. Mazapan pancakes were amazing. Classic diner with nice decor.“

“Magaly & Eduardo, I want to thank you for our belated Valentine's Day dinners that we had on Monday, Feb. 21st. My husband and I both ordered the 4 Course Dinners for the 1st time. Considering that I had the steak, chicken, and shrimp, & the salmon dinner, they were all cooked to perfection. Thanks again for your attentiveness!“

“I went to Xiaomei this morning to buy a takeout with three dishes and one soup, and then went to the nearby Great China Supermarket to buy some vegetables. I took out Xiaomei and retrieved my eight yuan and seventy cents, wrapped in Xiaomei. In my receipt, the lady at the Greater China counter refused to accept one of the $5 bills, saying it was a counterfeit bill. If it were normal, forget it, it would be a trivial matter. But then I thought again, I have been swallowing my anger all my life, and I am brave this time. I am not deceiving or intentionally blackmailing Xiaomei. As a result, the money was returned, but the words spoken to each other were not very kind. I went home and reflected on my words and deeds. I am a Buddhist, and I felt sad that I did not meet the standards required by gods and Buddhas. I am a new customer of Xiaomei. I was introduced by a friend. To be honest, Xiaomei’s food is indeed of high quality and low price. I should be more grateful. So I would like to apologize to Xiaomei!“

“Servicio excelente !!! Personal muy amable“

“Found this gem last year for my birthday breakfast with family. Delicious food, great service and atmosphere. All the nostalgia is awesome. The owner was walking around making sure everyone got what they needed. Actually going today for my birthday again🥰“

“I always pass this restaurant on my bus route and usually I don’t have time to stop however I did today and I must say the customer service is amazing and I ordered the French toast combo with a side of potatoes O’Brian… First of all the French toast is so damn good. I didn’t even need syrup next, I’m gonna talk about these potatoes that was cooked to Perfection… They were crispy & soft they were amazing. My eggs were over medium perfect. I mean just perfect. I will definitely be returning. There aren’t as many good restaurants in this area, but this is definitely one of them and once again the customer service was amazing. The only reason why I did not give it five stars for the atmosphere is because I sat at the bar area and there was a lady who just would not get off of her phone. She had it on speaker and it was super loud. You would’ve thought she had it connected to surroundsound and that is the only reason why it was four stars for the atmosphere I just wish people would be a little more considerate so for that reason I actually cut my visit short and just packed my food up to go however, once again this restaurant is amazing super clean the restroom really clean and once again the customer service is truly truly amazing please go and visit this restaurant“

“I love this place. Parking is really convenient and easy. The restaurant itself has a lot of space and some TV's with interesting kid friendly content. The service is always friendly, warm and welcoming. The food is really good and normally you can find some pretty good deals. My real review of the place is that I keep coming back to it on a very regular basis. Tom's is great!“

“Came here for breakfast and order the bacon and eggs meal. Everything was fast and fresh. The only negative thing is that the mirrors were dirty and I can see hand prints on the middle wall divider of the dinning area. (I’m a house clear/organizer) I see everything 😂“

“we we're there this morning about 8am for my Veteran's free bfast and the waitress who was alone was perfect. I think her name was Kenia“
